Welcome to the New Bellevue Girls Ministry Blog!

We are so excited today to be launching the first Bellevue Girls Ministry Blog. Bellevue Girls Ministry works together with Bellevue Student Ministry of Bellevue Baptist Church in leading students in becoming authentic followers of Jesus Christ. Girls Ministry reaches out to 6th -12th grade girls through Girls Events (such as Lock-Ins, Daddy & Daughter Nights, Mother & Daughter Receptions, Movie Nights, Clothes Swaps, Bake Offs, and more), Girls Bible Studies (S.O.S., Sunday Afternoon Bible Studies, and Mugs & Muffins), counseling, leadership training, and disciple-making.

We desire to train up young ladies so that they may live out Titus 2:3-5, "Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips, nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be dishonored."

Our desire is for girls to have passionate, growing walks with Christ, so that they can continue to help the next generation of girls to grow in their walks with Christ. We strive to do this by providing growth opportunities through Community, Disciple-Making, and Action.

The BGM (Bellevue Girls Ministry) Blog will exist in order to encourage teenage girls to seek hard after God and glorify God through their lives. This site will include devotionals, upcoming events, DIG questions, encouraging words, pictures, and resources to help girls in their walk with Christ. We welcome you to use this as a way to contact us (Leslie Hollowell - Director of Girls Ministry or Jennie McKay - Assistant Director of Girls Ministry) or ask questions. We will do our best to answer them! Leave comments anytime - we would love to know what you think or your suggestions for the blog!

Welcome to the new blog!

Leslie & Jennie
